Manly Zine Fair on the 20th September. Look at my pretty artwork.
Plus my picture party at Waterloo library starting that same week as part of art and about.
And I’ll be running a casual little zine workshop at the Seymour Centre the week after. More on that soon.
Zine Fair 23rd of March in this lucky Capital
Just a quick reminder that I’ll be at the Canberra Zine Emporium in Gorman House selling my usual garbage. And some new crap.
Hope of the Museum of Australian Democracy. Museums tend to hold historical items. As in it’s history. Something that no longer exists. Like Democracy. In Australia. At least there’s a museum to show us what we used to have.

New old zines
Many years ago, before I really even made zines, I spent a year making little books. I made 364, as I had a day off. I did make a big book of them all, but only made three copies, and I don’t know if anyone would be that interested in it as I have to charge a lot, as it’s a proper bound book.
But as I have a zine fair coming up on Sunday, I thought I’d make some of them into little zines. So far I’ve made up five of my favourites. Get them on Sunday at the Canberra Zine Emporium. I may list them in a five pack later in my ETSY shop. But I may not either.
I’ll be at Enmore this weekend.
I’ll be having a stall again at the Enmore Curated Markets this Sunday the 11th of August. It’s at the back of the Vic on the Park Hotel, 2 Addison Rd Enmore NSW, from 11am till about 4pm. And for all you drunks you can grab one of your fancy boutique beers too I suppose. Saying that it’s fine for kids as it’s not in the pub, and you can pretty much avoid the drunks.
Songs of Protest Ten
Just knocked out another one last night for the Zine Fair today at the MCA. This is where the MCA is trying to show it knows whats going on in the streets, and we pretend that we’re exhibiting in the major contemporary arts hub of Sydney. It’s a win / win situation, or we’re all just kidding ourselves.
Who cares. It will be fun / terrible.
Getting ready for tomorrow
Here’s a couple of new zines and a reworking of my Other Goose zine, ready for tomorrow at the MCA Zine Fair. Supposedly 5000 people go. I can believe it. I think they’re putting me outside to face the elements, so if you do go, make sure you check out the covered terrace at the front. I’ll be near the zine truck.
I reworked my Other Goose Zine to make it smaller and cheaper. I think I managed to sell two whole copies of the first print. But I love the pictures and lack of success obviously does not stop me. Obviously.

But anyway enough of the wingeing.
