If you happen to be at the Royal Easter Show today (Thursday the 24th March) then I will be helping out the Bookbinders guild with bookbinding demonstrations.
Amazingly they trust me with sewing needles.
Let’s hope it doesn’t end in tears.
Just a quick reminder that I’ll be at the Canberra Zine Emporium in Gorman House selling my usual garbage. And some new crap.
Hope of the Museum of Australian Democracy. Museums tend to hold historical items. As in it’s history. Something that no longer exists. Like Democracy. In Australia. At least there’s a museum to show us what we used to have.
I was working on one of the backdrops in the backyard today, for the Waffy Waf stage spectacuar, coming soon to a Southern Highlands near you. First stop Bundanoon on the 12th of October.
Be there! and say you were the first to see it. Impress future generations. It’s going to be big. We’re going to tear the roof off that sucker!
I am going to start a rant of things that get to me. But today I feel to lazy, so you’ll have to wait, but I made this little picture as a header.
I think my first rant will be about how I’m expected to be a business person and make money out of art. why can’t I just be pensioned off and draw in my room all day.
Looks like I just started.
How do I make my way onto the old gravy train?
This picture is based on a bit in my first novella. I’m currently working on a new edition, to print at home, as I used Blurb to print this, and it doesn’t cost that much but the postage is a killer.
Buy it HERE
So I might use this as a cover for the new edition.
