I was working on one of the backdrops in the backyard today, for the Waffy Waf stage spectacuar, coming soon to a Southern Highlands near you. First stop Bundanoon on the 12th of October.
Be there! and say you were the first to see it. Impress future generations. It’s going to be big. We’re going to tear the roof off that sucker!
Here’s the flyer fo the Manly Zine Fair. Don’t worry, it’s not some blokefest. It’s actually the name of a suburb. A pretty nice suburb, by the sea.
As well as trying to sell my zines I’ll be running a workshop teaching different types of easy binding. You can use these techniques on your zines (there’s a workshop running at the same time) or make you own notebooks, or just a bunch of paper you want to hold together.
So it should be a fun day. I’ve always had fun. Hope to see you there.

Yeah! Me!
It’s always hard for me to choose what to take. I suppose I need some sort of market curator, but nobody’s offered. It’s kind of nice that people like much of what I do, but also frustrating, in that I sell small amounts of everything. So I need to bring every thing, every time. I sometimes wish I could be all pleased with myself with the one genius idea I had, like I see others do. But then it wouldn’t be me would it. So these card will be with me this Sunday at the Enmore Curated Markets. Details to the left.
I’ve also got a bunch of postcard packs. One of Cats, and one of my finest art, according to me this week. Next week will surely be different.
I’ll be having a stall again at the Enmore Curated Markets this Sunday the 11th of August. It’s at the back of the Vic on the Park Hotel, 2 Addison Rd Enmore NSW, from 11am till about 4pm. And for all you drunks you can grab one of your fancy boutique beers too I suppose. Saying that it’s fine for kids as it’s not in the pub, and you can pretty much avoid the drunks.
I’ve made a new zine with one of my favorite zine makers. The notorious Katie Haegele from Pennsylvania. It’s the story of a little Cheetah-print dress, but as with here stories it’s always about so much more. Zine fairs, unrequited love, relationships, and where you feel at home.
Get it from me this Sunday the 7th of July at Eveleigh Artisans Market, in Wilson Street, Darlington – 10am to 3pm. Come and say hello. I’ll need a bit of cheering up.

Here’s a couple of new zines and a reworking of my Other Goose zine, ready for tomorrow at the MCA Zine Fair. Supposedly 5000 people go. I can believe it. I think they’re putting me outside to face the elements, so if you do go, make sure you check out the covered terrace at the front. I’ll be near the zine truck.
I reworked my Other Goose Zine to make it smaller and cheaper. I think I managed to sell two whole copies of the first print. But I love the pictures and lack of success obviously does not stop me. Obviously.
But anyway enough of the wingeing.
Just a quick reminder that you be able to pick up little gems like this in my zines on Sunday the 26th of May at the MCA Zine Fair, down at Circular Quay West in Sydney. Come and pester me if you feel up to it.

OK, from going on about how I was going to quit everything, now May is jam packed with events.
On Sunday the 5th of May I will be at Eveleigh Artisans Market 10am to 3pm. Mainly as I want to catch up on the gossip with other stall holders. There’s a bit to find out in the intriguing world of Artisans Markets.
The Sunday after that on the 12th of May I will be at the new Enmore Curated Design Markets at Vic on the Park. I’ll put up ore details on that soon. It’s just starting out but look really interesting. Well I’ll be there for a start.
And
I’ve made it into the MCA Zine Fair on Sunday the 26th of May 11am to 4pm. I’ll keep you updated about that closer to the time.
